Involvement
A good university experience is beyond academics. I have been actively involved in leadership, coordination, and outreach activities, both within and outside the university.
The skills I wanted to learn, I helped the university organize workshops and events for, and the skills I already had, I shared with others through volunteering and mentoring.
Leadership & Volunteering
Founder & Technical Head, PDEU Rocketry Team
2025 — Present- Built the team from scratch within Apogee, PDEU's aerospace society
- Also serve as Core Technical Engineer & Treasurer, Apogee — handling budgets and sponsorships alongside propulsion and design work
- Same thrust with almost half the fuel weight - redesigned the propellant and additively manufactured CD nozzle, validated in static fire tests and rocket launches
- Rocket motor fitting and body design and analysis, electronics subsystems, and launch pad design & fabrication — all in-house
Volunteer, Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Shantigram
2024 — Present- International Yoga Day celebration event preparation and execution
- Climate Change & Waste management awareness campaign in local schools in the rural areas of Jaspur village
- Blood donation camp organisation and execution in collaboration with the Red Cross Society of India
- Blanket distribution drive for the underprivileged and homeless in Ahmedabad city

Lawn Tennis Secretary & Player, PDEU
2024 — 2026- Promoting the sport across campus and organising the university's inter-college and recreational tournaments
- Flagship PDEU's Energy Cup 2025 and 2026, Intracup & Freshers Cup
- 100+ participants across 3 tournaments in 2025, and 150+ participants across 4 tournaments in 2026
- The unbeatable PDEU Lawn Tennis Team — 1st place in 2025 and 2026 Energy Cup, and 95% win rate across all matches in 2025 and 2026
Space Science content developer for website and outreach, Tanmaye's Amazing Space
2023- ISRO-recognized space science outreach tutor
- Researched and developed content on the Sun, focusing on the solar flare cycle, solar storms, and their impact on Earth's magnetosphere and satellites

Founding President, SciKnowTech VIPNET Club - SciKnowTech Education Foundation
2021 — 2023- Started and ran a student science-outreach club with Gujarat government and VIPNET
- Organised hands-on STEM workshops and events, and online expert sessions during COVID-19 lockdown

- Still Serving as a mentor and advisor to the club, helping with preparation of STEM projects and ideations for year-end carnival and organizing flagship events (eggdrop challenge, bridge building, parachute challenge)
Logistics Subcommittee, Daastan - The dramatics club of PDEU
2023- Organized and managed logistics for the annual dramatics festival, including stage setup, lighting, sound systems, and coordination with performers and crew
- 4 events, including flagship event 'Emotions', and started learning acting
Technical Subcommittee, Encode - The programming club of PDEU
2023- Helped with my technical expertise in programming to conduct workshops and events for students

2020- Trained 800+ students across the world (online during COVID-19 lockdown) in C, C++, and game development using Unity

Coordination
CFD (FDM & FVM) Python Workshops
Coordinated and assisted Dr. Anirudh Kulkarni in peer-to-peer workshops that trained 100+ BTech, MTech, and PhD students at PDEU
Lead Coordinator, 1st International Battery Symposium — ICTEA 2024, PDEU, McMaster University, Toronto Metropolitan University, Yalova University
Overall event management with overview of the symposium, speaker coordination, logistics, graphic design, and session management; 200+ participants from 5+ countries; presented a review article on battery thermal management
FEA Bootcamp, ASME PDEU Student Chapter
Coordinated the workshop with Dr. Pravesh Kumar and Dr. Manjeet Keshav, ASME student chapter guide, training 50+ students in FEA mathematics, & basic use of ANSYS Mechanical
Outreach
Astronomy outreach — @astroyush
Created and actively manage a dedicated Instagram account for astronomy outreach, sharing accessible explainers and observation updates.
